Peter Phipps – coastal management
specialistPeter Phipps is the Group’s head of geomorphology
and coastal management. Peter has over 15 years’ experience of
working within and providing expert engineering, input on
geomorphology and geology for large multi-disciplinary teams for a
variety of major ground engineering, infrastructure and coastal
projects.
Peter has designed, procured and managed integrated site
investigations including specification and contractual
arrangements. He plays a key role in mentoring for graduate
engineering geologists. Peter has particular interest in project
risk management and implementation of qualitative and quantitative
based engineering geological hazard and risk assessments. Many of
the projects he leads on help build and protect sustainable coastal
communities.
